Oh KEMI!!!

Well first the view driving to the fire station- phenomonal! Then Kemi and Toni posed for some photos. Kemi was pretty hungry so she went to the gas station for some snacks- a corn dog of course! Where she met an Army man. But he was simply tiring so she needed a jolt from Starbucks. She knew that keeping an eye on Lindsey would be quite a challenge (she sat there for 7 1/2 hours and barely finished a page!) So trying to get Lindsey hyped up to be productive they sniffed some glue. This didn't get Kemi going either so Jill loaded her with more caffine- she hearts COKE! But after all of the "pick me ups" Kemi and Lindsey finally hit rock bottom. We love you Kemi hope you had a great time! Thanks to everyone for letting me borrow, use etc. their supplies. I think the only thing I provided on my page was the paper! Stamps from Toni, punches from Jill and Carla it was a team effort getting only a half of a page done. I couldn't have been even that successful without you ladies THANKS!!! At this rate I will finish the book in 12 years and 365 days! And as you could see Kemi really pooped me out!

Yes I have a pulse.

Still breathing here, donated blood yesterday, ran a 5K this morning and going to a CROP till ya drop tonight. I will be working on some scrapbooking and then some cards on Sunday for a local hospital. Trying to pack my stuff now- so that means the ink is in a bag. Without my colors I feel lost. Perhaps that will be a good challenge for me, or I could use all of those wishes all the lovely ladies granted for me!

Stampin' Diva Sketch

Just got my WANTED set in the mail and had to create something. Visited Stamping Diva's blog and found the perfect sketch! I love these colors together!

Wondering about watercolor crayons

First attempt at watercolor crayons, I am loving the look and looking forward to perfecting it!

Paper inspired.

Toni always inspires me to buy the DCWV paper pack right when it comes out. Since I am a paper hoarder I tear the pack up and leave all of the papers that coordinate with stamp sets I have. That's how this card came about. It is a splitcoast sketch challenge also #141

Two favorites UNITE!

The little cuttlebug is a keeper, especially with this embossing folder. I embossed the DCWV paper that reminded me of Carte Postal. I put them together and VOILA! perfection. Added a bit of white craft ink to the raised part of the image then spunkified the stamped image with the marker and gel pen. My favorite card of the week by far.

Olive Eyes

At first I saw eyes on this paper, then I thought if I added a couple red circles it would be an olive! I love this little martini stamp. I embellished the card with the sakura star dust pen. Star dust does make everything that much more fun!

boo to you too

I really like this card, the color combo I found on the SU! color wheel. Man I love that thing when I want to use a scrap that wheel really helps me find soemething fresh.

"It's the MONSTER MASH"

The monster mash!

EEK

CASED out of the SCS gallery here.

ooooh BABY!

CASED from this card.

Big Piece of Art

I love this card, cased it from this card.

I've been BAD!

I have been bad, I am lovin' bad Sherry and this card.

oh how lovely

Lovely as a tree, and here is the lovely inspiration

Perfect Inspiration

Another card inspired by Beate. Love love love her work check the inspiration here!

Everything coming up roses!

This is cased from my FAVE SU! gal BEATE- this card is so gorgeous! I just had to see what I could create with my own supplies.

Good luck and Good Job!

Lovin' the simplicity of this card. My own little creation. This is the first time the clover has hit paper (other than my index of stamps) you go CLOVER!!!

Rockin n' Rollin' with my Faux Mother

These are again from my 25 technique class. The palm card is the faux mother of pearl technique with lumiere paint. And the cream card is rock and roll. Flower inspired by Beate and palm card CASED from Stampin' Success (demo SU! mag)

My FAVE flower of the year!

Love this color combo and can't seem to get this darn layout out of my head.

Applique/Faux Linen

I do a totally terrific technique club (T3C). The last class was making 25 technique cards for $.25 in celebration of my 25th birthday. Here are two of the cards. I gave them rings so that way they are there for easy reference or allowed them to mount them to cards. The lady in the robe has liquid applique heated to look all fluffy. Then the flowers are sanded down to create a faux linen look.

The pink horse.

My grandfather found this horse in an alley and Scotty LOVED it- he road it into the sunset and back!

Maybe it's just me...

but this has to be the funniest photo EVER! I just want to know what sort of horrible things are at this particular pre-school. I am still laughing!

Phone isn't ringing

If the phone rang today with a certain out of state number I would be entering the design world. Well, no calls here just my sister to tell me about her pedicure. These are my submissions to Cornish Heritage Farms. Well off to create another entry, I am bound to get lucky!! Hope everyone has enjoyed their day off and into their four day week! Those are my favorite weeks. Off to stamp my little heart out. Oh yeah, update on the mini book I made for Miss Arizona 2007 she said people have wanted one for themselves- perhaps that was my "design team" call today. We'll see! Enjoy your Monday!
