Swinging (flipping and flopping) with the Best Blossoms

Retired or not this is my all time FAVORITE flower set. It is just so bold. Liking the swing cards except I need to get down not to cut the middle part!! I did that 3 times in a row before I learned not to cut it- perhaps I should concentrate on what I am doing instead of talking!? Ah, but I had fun, fun, fun! Check out Beate's tutorial on the swing/flip flop card here.

Sketch contest for Stamping Diva

Toni over at Stamping Diva has a sketch every Tuesday and this week it is two challenge sketches- check them out!! The contest is for a $19.95 set out of the current TAC catty that's if her hubby picks your card--go on create a card and make him choose your card! Thanks for the opportunity girl!

Ooh la la!

Go check out my card I made for Toni's birthday I love it so much it was hard to give it up. The green is more of a milder lime that the photo shows. I used Beate's file folder tutorial check it out here. Thanks to Daniela for the blue flower!

Little cutie

Isn't this frog the cutest!? I placed some crystal effects to look like dripping water on his underside, but my amazing photography couldn't really pick it up. Enjoy and have a HOPPY THURSDAY!!

Simple snow flurries...

It's beginning to 'feel' a lot like Christmas! Time is flying, the mornings are chilly and there is so much to do and see. 2007 is almost over, wheew I feel like it just started! It's so weird how first grade feels like 18 years and now the years feel like 18 minutes...no wonder you forget things when you are older. Time is flying so fast you didn't even digest it, let alone have the time to remember it! Since time is going by too fast I picked a perfect card to complete in a quick moment from this card here.

Thanks Belle Papier

I love the style of Julia Stainton, this card was inspired from her card here.

WANTED-SO BAD!!

With my family being from Montana and all obsessed with horses you could imagine how the new western sets were right up my alley. I WANTED this set, the bronc buster set and the scalloped circle since the day they released. Now that they are here, I couldn't be happier having them in a pile on the floor that my husband trips over to get to the computer! (Messy) Home sweet home.

Page maps I love you!

Thanks Toni for this great color combo, I am in love with page maps and this flower!

So many sayings

This set was a toughy, to mount or mount separatly. Well I kept it in the original form. This way I can cut the pieces out I want. I couldn't decide a theme for this card, so you can choose! Isn't that fun!? I used another card sketch from page maps- thanks Otilia for giving me the idea to print them out! It sure is handy!!

Cuttlebug of elegance

Rarely have a good wedding card or fancy congratulations on hand so here it is.

Page Map sketch comes to life!

This is a page map sketch (you can find it under card maps on their site), really like it, I will be using it again. Actually a good way to use up those scraps (although I had to cut into my new 12x12 DCWV paper pack!). Ah, the endless battle with scraps!

Bonanza #1

Created 20 cards (2 each 10 designs) at Toni's card Bonanza. I love the classy look of this one with the corners and funky knot.

Bonanza #2

Totally diggin' this golfer guy- his navy tatt is too cute!

Bonanza #3

These card on top of card bases are too cute, never liked this set until I saw it with yellow- it matches my truck!!

Bonanza #4

My first ACETATE card- wahoo I am all grown up now, yeah right Toni really had to break this card down for me. The brads hold the image on through the front of the card. It's why I took the class to learn from the STAMPING DIVA- she knows all!!

Bonanza #5

Another first- a paper bag card! This is too cool, I will be purchasing some bags now!

Bonanza #6

Lovin the colors and circles- I'm beyond grateful for this card bonanza!!

Bonanza #7

The dew drops are so cool, this is my favorite card with the embossed "water" for the lily pad flower (my favorite flower EVA!)

Bonanza #8

This bat is such a little cutie- I wish all bats looked like him. Look at those little legs and round body- I'm BATTY for him!

Bonanza #9

Bonanza #10

LOVIN' the fold!!!

When I opened this card I fell in love with the set- AGAIN (I have been stewing over it for about a year) and the FOLD for sure- I am going to be putting this one to good use soon! This was a BRAK from MollyDR- THANKS so much for the inspiration and another push towards this set.

This is a RAK- again along with Jen's card was lost in a filing nightmare. Hotwheels created it for me isn't it gorgeous!? She chalked the flowers it is so delicate my horrible photography didn't capture the essence of it. Bummer.

Cuttle up to your hot glue gun!

Squeezed out a blob of blue hot glue with my little 2 dollar hot glue gun, waited a bit for it to cool. Then flew the dragonfly right into the glue (inked in gold) held there until the glue didn't come back like string cheese. Outlined the bamboo in gold pen also. Ah, I love Asian things. Then of course cuttlebug is back. I love this embossing folder (can you tell?) I actually have another one but you would never know. Once I get you sick of this one I will break out the other. Alright, alright I am sick of writing about it so you gotta be sick of seeing and reading about it! Then my nex to fave style frenchy poo! Enjoy.

Dying glitter/split negative

Had to try out the split negative tutorial on SCS right away- love the combo of black white and red. YUM! This set is one of my faves. Alright, this other one is "egg"stra special. Does this flower not look like an EGG!? I got a little carried away when dying the glitter- that yellow is really yolk like! Eggs over easy anyone?

Shaking up the stained glass

Shaker card- lovin the colors and this is the first time I can remember using this heart of roses (even though it had silver ink all over it). Hmmmm, what could I have created before??? Don't remember. Anyway the other is stained glass- lovin' this technique and really believe this heart of roses is perfect to display it!

How can you 'resist' postage

Some more techniques, totally forgot to cut my postage with my stamp scissors- whoops! Blonde moment I call my life. I love the riviera spectrum pad from TAC so fresh with the colors.

Oops, found a RAK

This is a card from one of my secret sisters. I had it in a pile for photographing and it was tucked away in bill/filing land. Poor little Bella! She is my first Bella card I have ever received. I need to get me some of those chicas- too cute! Thanks Jen!! Check out her gallery.

Faux shaving cream and bleach

Chiggity check these cool techniques. Using an inked wheel twist it on top of an inked stamp and get a shaving cream look or use something from the cleaning cupboard to lighten cardstock! Both fun!!
