Booked to make a book

This book was made for my friend Nicole Turner to give to the Arizona State Directors for their help during her year as Miss Arizona. Cherie had sent me an exploding/squash scrapbook that she had made last year.. This is a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 book (that is the size of the chipboard covers, the pages are 10x10) and decorated with Scenic Route paper I purchased from Mountains of Memories and the flower as well. Other than that cleared up the cookie chaos, thanks Toni for all of your help! Seriously there would not be a world of color blog if it wasn't for her computer knowledge. She is a Computer Diva and I love it! Meet you for coffee tomorrow at 1200 girl, miss ya!

Here I am.

Finding my place in the world.
Not so easy.
This is the beginning of a long haul.
Just doing things on the side right now.
In time everything will work out.
But for now, I plan to fix my computer so that I can post my current projects.

Shoes and photos- my faves!

Well spent the evening with Little Katy who has the cutest shoes ever! I wish they made little kids shoes for big people. Although when they do they are all huge and ugly. She is such a diva! And this is the bridge - pretty cool huh. They only turn on the lights for certain occasions/days/some reason. I am not sure what the reason was this time other than for me to ge these cool photos. I want to take better pics of the moon. It always looks so creepy looking then once I snap a photo it's not what I see at all. Hmmmm. better look into that, any thoughts from you out there?

Poker Run

Well cars are really big in my family. Just about everyone has a classic of some sort. Great Falls has a poker run basically you just drive your classic cars around to different places and collecting a poker hand. Well with the weather (not spring here quite yet) many of my family's cars stayed home and dry. But a couple vette's made it out and I had to take a photo of the soon to be cosmetologist of the family's trunk! Kinda like the movie 8 heads in a duffle bag?? With gas prices this event will soon be only for the rich and famous. We had dinner at Fuddruckers, pretty tasty!

Only took me 2 months to CRUISE through this album!

With two more pages (title and last page) to go and some more page protectors this bad boy is D-o-n-e (sing that part like the M-I-C K-E-Y song). This is the cute album that it will be going in. I suggest not using 8x8 though- ugh. It was tough with so many photos!
