Headed to FUNKY town

More love for the big pieces. Funky paper for a funky set. Enjoyed my Saturday in Harlem. Watched them branding cattle, which was smokey and I had no idea how much went into putting a brand on a cow. They had a waffle iron type thing which was pretty facinating and just a real eye opener to a city girl!

She's only going to be all that for one more day!

And the occasions mini is over on June 30th. These little ladies are too cool. Here is a card that I started 5 months ago. Talk about letting that one marinate. Basically I just wasn't as pleased with it as I thought I would be. I believe it's some sort of color challenge as well. I will have to look into that one though. Laters.

An accomplishment
I am going to a wedding anniversary today. 25 years, that is an accomplishment! Here is the card to celebrate it. It says 25 years and counting. They are ranchers and will be branding this weekend. So hopefully I will come back with some cool photos! Have a great weekend!

Blonde moment
That lasted for a weekend!
Turned down a chance to scrapbook for the entire weekend. Silly girl I am I know. But I would pack all of my current projects I want nothing to do with and do nothing with them for a whole weekend. So made more sense to go where the wind took me.
Got my days confused and had a bunch of people go out and watch an imaginary band Friday night, got a good laugh out of it. Ended up at the Flamingo where a woman fell, hit her head on the table and had to be taken out on a stretcher, then some guy peed on my tires. I guess I wasn't the only one having a blonde moment. But I recovered on Saturday had a nap, a BBQ and when to see Hit-n-Run who was really playing this time. Pheeew!

Just a little gift set...
I have been obsessed with my scor-pal here for the last month. I bought mine from Toni as one of my 1/2 off items! What a deal, and let me tell you it is worth it. I am really pleased with it! I got the template off of the Scor-pal website. These are 3x3 cards which Beate inspired me to make if I need to help get my creative juices flowing. The stamps used in this little card set will only be available until August 11. I thought I would use Snow Flurries in more of a springy less ho ho ho style.
Amazing
What a little sunshine and music will do for you! The dress my bff is wearing was handmade by my cousin when I made my dress- too cute! I think my arms are going to fall off from twirling her around for what seemed like 42 songs!! Here we are jammin with Hit-n-Run at the Alive at Five and Taste of Great Falls.

Adios Tagger's Dozen

Antoher great set that is checking out...Tagger's Dozen. While I was picking up the new Stamper's Sampler at Joann's that my friend Toni is featured in, check out her published cards here. I found some chipboard ribbon slides that I totally planned to cover up with ink and such, but the color matched this ribbon I had bought while I lived in Phoenix. Amazing how things come about. I picked up the new Stamper's Sampler, Take Ten and Stamp It! And so far I have been stamping like a mad woman. I have also started over 30 boxes, pouches and such with the ole' score pal. I'M BAAAAAACK!!!!

I will miss you BIG TIME Big Pieces

This set is on it's way to Florida (where stamp sets go when they retire). Be sure to grab one up before it is gone forever!!! This is also KWERNER's first color inspiration. Hey if it's inspiring me to stamp who cares when you get it done right!!! I will also miss In Color 08' Purely Pomegranate, but if 6 new colors will take it's place it really cushions the loss.

Scrub a dub
This girl has an electric personality. Such a cutie. Right now only photos are moving me.
I have been to 4 crops and have yet to accomplish anything (caught up with a friend from Japan who lives here now as well- konichiwa Cori!!).
I need some inspiration.
I need something.
What is it?
It is missing.
A job perhaps, a new idea, a person to motivate me, whatever it is I need to find it fast. What I want, need, and what will help me create will come to me by next week. Let's hope. Perhaps an altered book of some sort.
Just create,
no rules,
no deadlines,
no thoughts.
I will give it a try on Sunday and fill you in on my progress.
