Not being really a big fan of acrylic it's crazy how much I wanted from the past two CTMH books. Thanks Melissa for hooking me up! She did an amazing job and even found me a past Stamp of the Month Life's a Jungle! I can't wait to test out the new colors and sets! Perhaps I will use some on my craft sale items. I have all of the patterned paper, cardstock and stamp sets layed out for all of the projects. Now just finding the time to complete them is the trick! Happy Halloween!

Rancher for a day.

This past weekend I headed out to Stanford to help, well watch Josh move cattle for a friend. This is where they take the babies away from the mommas and send them to the midwest where there is corn to fatten them up. Amazing how much crying was going on from the mommas. And of course another sunrise- it's too dark to see the cattle but they're in there. And I had to stay in the truck since I am not so good on my new leg just yet. Should be driving soon- can't wait!

Ups and downs
The sun comes up and the sun goes down. This is my life right now. I think I am just in a funk about my leg. I am so over it. I am ready to be normal again, wait I guess I will wait a lifetime for that, I am ready for my leg to get better. I want to drive. You know how you don't need to go anywhere when your car is in the driveway but once it goes to the shop you are like crap I need to drive to get this, this and that. That's how I feel about driving. I need to drive here, there and everywhere. Tired of leaning on everyone. Ready to drive on my own and live on my own. I applied for a home loan today. I have to call my lender back tomorrow to see what she says. It would be such great progress to move out of my aunt's basement. Once you live on your own it's hard to live with a "mother figure" again. So ready to go UP again!

RAK is back...

This is a birthday RAK I received from Sally Merchant/animallover back in August. Thanks lady! After cleaning up a pile of craft crap I found it on my table and realized I didn't blog it. Amazing what you find while cleaning. And along with my cleaning you will be glad to hear I have started a chronological listing for my photos, this way once my boxes arrive I can get a handle on this (being I'm afraid to scrap without everything in order). Amazing how your thoughts seem to organize when your environment is organized as well!

Blah blah blah

This is Makenna, she is my BFF. She is such a pistol. Just like her momma. While talking on the phone to her Dad these are her expressions- talk about versatile! She kept saying "I know Dad, blah blah blah, whatever Dad." Crackin' me up!!! So this is for her Dad's birthday. I cut out all of these little photos during the World Series game. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Birthday thank you's

Better late than never! Had to play with the new colors and new sets!! Getting ready for a craft faire in November (my aunts with the yarn store invited me to join their table), I have about a month to prepare things. Not really sure what I will be making but I know it will involve my scor-pal and stamps. So there should be much more creating in the future. I also ordered stamps with my work logo from this site I found from Elise Blaha's Blog. Very fast delivery and you can make anything a stamp! So creating some custom congrats, thanks for your business, and such will be in the making as well. As for my little leg, I am going strong with physical therapy three times a week as well as on my own. I am ahead of the curve, getting more range of motion and strength everyday. Can't wait to be active again!

I love clouds
And these babies were pretty cool. They were on the way to a bowling party with my coworkers. Groovy. And thanks to Bob my weather friend I am slowly learning the names of them. **Updated** These, according to my poster Bob gave me are called M4 Altocumulus.

A Mess.
Getting organized. It's time to get a handle on this obsession (scrapbooking). So I attended a scrap retreat at MOMS and barely accomplished a thing. I decided all of my current projects are boring me right now. After talking with Melissa about it, she said why not do something totally different. She is a genious. I guess I have been reluctant to because I am not organized. I am a chronological scrapper and I feel trapped by it. If I organize myself so that I have all of the ticket stubs, programs, papers, embellies, etc ready for multiple layouts ahead of time I really think I can get a handle on this "I don't want to scrap" crap. I have searched the internet to find these at the cheapest price, again Melissa is a genious for showing them to me. I will put the "memorabilia" in these with any papers/embellies I want to use as well. Then store all of them in these. I got 4 of these suckers to start with because they were on sale and I had a code for free shipping. Spending money on organization isn't as fun as getting new stuff, but heck I can't even use my new stuff because I don't want to scrap at all because I am so unorganized. I'll keep you posted on this solution.

Fall Retreat at MOM's
This is my loot from MOMS- cool huh! Being that I am the mayor of margaritaville it's a perfect "happy hour" theme for me! I have a HUGE thank you to go out to Melissa. Let me talk for a bit on this gal. She is the most fun, spunky, giving, warm hearted, absolute blast to be around, pee your pants funny, pack your stuff 4 times in and out so you can attend a retreat, silhouette winnin', cell phone ringtone singin', openin' doors while slippin', BEST person I have EVER met! Girl, you mean the world to me and I will never forget what you have done for me this past month. THANK YOU!
So what all has been going on with the ole' leg. I am off the crutches except for long distance walking so that is really cool. I get the 11 staples out on Friday- yeah, these buggers are starting to itch. Can't wait to frolic in the snow- had a bit this past weekend but it all melted. My physical therapist said I am ahead of the curve. I can bend it 104 degrees, long way to go but that is huge to pass up 90 degrees let me tell you!
So what else has been going down in Lindseytown. Things with Josh are great, he is still a sweetheart. We have almost finished Alias, man I miss that show. Melissa has me started watching her Grey's Anatomy collection.

Missoula oh my!
After the Griz game an a long night of celebration Melissa and I hit up the The Scrapbook Hideaway. Let me tell you best store I have been to in a LONG time! They had little drawers of trinkets to dig through- my favorite! And the samples were to die for. I love how now scrapbooking is an art, from the photography to the design of the page. I love this craft because it keeps getting better and better! Plus Missoula is just so cool!

MOMS purchase
With the new owner over at MOMS there came some new product into the store. This is the first batch of items I got my hands on- can't wait to put it to good use! Looking forward to the retreat next weekend where hopefully I can get some stuff accomplished that has been on my list for months! Jenn always did such a great job and it will be bittersweet but I think Jeannie will have a different twist on things- heck it's a great hobby, great people and great food!

Baby shower gifts galore
Threw this little number together for Kelli at work for her baby shower, she is expecting Taylor this month. I used the kit I got from this event back in Arizona.
Missing again...

Here is the reason I have dropped off the planet this time. Meet Josh, my boyfriend. He is a rancher from Stanford Montana and oh so sweet. This is us at the Bayern Brewery in Missoula Montana. My friends Melissa (she's the one that introduced me to Josh) and Bob took us to the Griz game and showed us a great time. You can see Melissa's craft blog here, Bob's beer blog here, and their blog together here.
In "leg news" I had my ACL repaired on the 30th of September- Toni's birthday- HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLIE, your gift is on the way!!! So I am on the road to recovery. Whoo hoo! There was a cancellation in the surgeon's schedule so he slipped me in, and I am so thankful so I won't be slipping on the ice once the snow flies! So you can expect a lot more crafting coming from this little lady since I am bummed up. Although six hours after surgury they had me walking and bending it. And day two I was doing stairs so I don't think it will keep me down for long at all!
Would love to hear what everyone else is up to- so chat me up- I have the time!!
