Inspired by the Splitcoast stampers sketch #51, the image is from the digishack. What is it about icecream and me, I have to have a gallon of Schwan's icecream in my freezer at all times.

Life is GRRReat!

Let summer begin! Josh and I went camping in Dry Wolf to start out the season. Man it felt good to get outside. Bonnie (Josh's Mom) took me on a hike where we hit a huge snow bank. I stopped and thought we were turning around. Oh no, she climbed up the snow bank (meanwhile I am thinking of how hard it would be to pack her 4 miles back) and said "You commin?" So I climbed up the snow bank and found an amazing view that was totally worth it! I am glad she didn't let me turn around without the payoff. She slid down the bank on the way back and we enjoyed campfire food and washoos. Great to be amongst great people, great food and the great outdoors.

Ooh la la New la la

These are the new colors from SU! this year. Yum, they are so fresh! I created these little gift cards for my cousin Cimberlee.

Just one of those days. Ugh.

Some days you just want to end. Ugh. Where nothing can go right. I should have turned around and went back into the house when I dipped my jacket in a blob of butter. Oh no, I kept on moving forward and got my hands super greasy putting my air filter back in. Then a crappy day at work followed. Just as I was driving home I thought, my great day can start NOW. So I started mowing the lawn. I couldn't get it started because it is really hard to pull. Once it did after about 300 trys, it ran out of gas halfway through the backyard. Of course it would! Happened to have a little can in the garage. Pheew. Get the back yard done, get half of the front done, and wouldn't you know the handle broke! Ugh. Some days just need to end. But I couldn't help but laugh at how stupid it was. Just as I am trying to drag it into the backyard my friend Liz calls and I tell her about my crappy lawn mowing experience and she laughed at me and my broke down mower. This is Square Butte on one of my drives to Stanford a few weeks ago. I would like to say I want to go back to this day, but that means that this one would replay too!

These were my thank you's for coming to my House Warming. I got this embossing folder and had to try it out immediatly, and the vision in my head came to life. I used up the card bases that I had cut for classes. So used some new product, got rid of some scrap, and sent off the thank yous. I know, I know I am really making large strides here. I think I am starting to like it!

This is my start of the pieces of my home I love. I will be making two mini books of these, one for Lynn the previous owner and one for myself. I am sure mine it will grow over time too! I am really excited to start making my mark in my home. Home Sweet Home!

Why I shouldn't have a debit card!

While in Billings for a friend's wedding, Josh and I hit up some stores. Let me tell you I had some great finds! Friday night we hit up the wedding, Troy and Camela were both in the wedding. Then it was on to Michaels, TJ Max, Hobby Lobby and Scrapbook Legacies. The blossom picture will hang in my living room, the 5 frames will hang horozontally and I will swap out photos with what moves me, I am hoping the seasons for now. The door pulls are for my kitchen drawers and cupboards. And of course the leather tote is for my color coordinated embellishements. I picked up some goodies from scrapbook legacies for Nicole's wedding invitations.

Blossoming 3x3

Love this cherry blossom branch from this set. It's just so cool and japanesey. This is not so great of a photo. I am working on getting some better lighting in the scrap room and some photo editing software. So much to buy so little money.

Hey BeBe

This card is an unusual size for me, oh wait it's my favorite size right now! What can I say I love baby cards. I really need to start making envelopes for all of my tiny pieces of art. This is the bebe stamp I got from a clearance bin at Hobby Lobby in Billings. Probably the fastest I have used a stamp EVER! I'm setting new records all over the place.

It Happens

I love this quote, because it is so true! I am on a 3x3 kick. It seems to be just the right amount of creativity for me. I am scared to jump right in because all of my projects are important. So being a true procrastinator I am going to create a slew of 3x3 cards!

Also I have been keeping up with my 20 minutes a day doing something creative. Even when I was out of town for the weekend I looked through some magazines and found some techniques I would like to try.

The corner stamp is from someone, I took all of my acrylic stamps out of their original packaging and don't have the names. I will update this post once I find it (my mind's eye), or if you know please pass on the info. Enjoy your week!

A Challenge!

I know June has already started, but I am publically announcing that I will be doing something creative everyday this month. I am setting aside 20 minutes of my day that way I can't say I don't have 20 minutes and actually follow through with it. Funny, my volleyball coach in High School said I needed to practice my follow through when hitting and how that has seemed to show up later in my life is weird! I didn't realize it until now. Well this month I am going to make a small change for a creative payoff. I really have gotten out of the creative swing of things so this is my jumpstart. I keep taking pictures so my list of todo's gets longer. But here is my first attempt at a new habit! We'll see when I squeeze in my 20 minutes. I'm excited. I would like to continue this for as long as I can, but a month seems feasable. This way I can get some of my projects that are just collecting dust done and move on to new creative horizons. This post lit the fire under me.

Memorials

Went to Townsend for Memorial Day for Josh's uncles wake. Pretty cool we played Wa Shoos and Dar and I were unbeatable for hours! We also went and cheered for Ty at the ropin' competition. By the end of the weekend he earned some cash and a buckle.

Home=Death

Not sure but I am not liking all of the death that is happening at my house. I guess it's just another sign of spring. I would rather have flowers.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' keep those stamps a rollin'

Got onto a roll, and let me tell you it is thanks to challenges! Thanks Digi Shack for your color challenge to get me going and hey I even used some virgin stamps!! Actually 3 virgin stamps for a 3x3 card made completely of scraps! I am on a roll.

Found some flow

The digi shack is my new favorite place. That is where this cool little cheers image came from. The sketch is from iheart2stamp. I printed off the images back when I purchased them, matched them up with patterned paper, colored them in, and here is the first that I made into something. And this week I have used the OMS technique to finish them off and add some blingy stuff. It has been slow, but hey it's flow.
