21 ACTIVE Days

I am starting my own 21 day challenge.  I need to cross #24 off my list, too bad it wasn't #21 that would have been perfect.  I need to live a healthier life.  I want to create something daily and keeping this journal is the ticket.  Let me tell you I am lovin' not having my entire stash of supplies out here in Stanford.  Limited supplies awakens my creativity.  Love that.  Might keep with this limited theme for a while. 

I missed the boat for Rhonna's 21 day challenge, it just wasn't a good time for me, today is.  December 15th, 2010 I will do something active for 10 minutes a day.  Running a mile and a half in under 16:28, doing 18 pushups and 38 sit ups in a minute is the goal.  I HAVE to (the air national guard requires it).  I WANT to (I make healthier choices when I'm active).  I NEED to (I have been feeling like crap, mentally and physically).

This is the front cover of the book.  Not sure if I will use book rings or the bind it all (as both options are in Great Falls) to bind this little number.  The red and 'ICAN' is from an American Eagle bag and after slaughtering it I only had enough to cover a portion of the front.  I like it anyway, very 'Santa Baby'.  And I'm sure you are diggin' my green verigated shag in my new craft room, it's alright be to be jealous!

Today's goal: Run for 10 minutes outside without breaking my hip on the ice.  I am taking my ipod, a hat and gloves.  I will also be sure to keep on the main roads where the ice has melted so this doesn't end up being a one day challenge.  Gram is coming to watch my 'Santa Baby' during her lunch hour so I can run, see I even have a support group for this challenge!
